B-Nat, the range of bakeware with non-stick coating made from Carnauba Wax.
Carnauba wax is extracted from the leaves of the Copernicia prunifera palm, cultivated in Brazil. It results from the natural waxing process of the plant, which modifies the surface of the leaves to increase impermeability during the rainy season.
This naturally produced wax is harvested during the dry season in flake form. Widely used across various sectors, it is renewable and used in producing the non-stick coating for the B-Nat line, giving bakeware greater shine for naturally non-stick pans.
Copernicia palm plantations are IBD certified. This certification ensures that the wax is collected following social norms and environmentally sound working conditions.
